One of my guy friends saw me reading FWMO, and asked what it was. I let him see the cover, and he immediately blew up. He started asking, "What is that book about?" "Getting a man?" "What does it say about us guys in there?" "I'm not like the rest of them!!!!" Then he stormed away. What should I tell him?
Don't let your lights go down, don't let your fire burn out.
Somewhere, somebody needs a reason to believe.
Why don't you rise up now? Don't be afraid to Stand Out!
That's how the lost get found!

We are His portion, and He is our prize; drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes. If His grace is an ocean we're all sinking. Heaven meets earth like an unforseen kiss, and my heart it turns violently inside of my chest. I don't have time to maintain these regrets when I think about the way He loves us.

LOL when I bought the book (fywo) one of my bro's friends said "OMGosh, she bought a book on how to pick up guys!" and I was like "Uh... No... it isn't... it just helps us girls understand guys more and yes, it does say not EVERY guy is like however they are in the book, just most guys..."
idk maybe the guys will know what you could say?

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Everyone you show seems to think the books are all about dating advice lol

My cousin saw it and was like, "Oh, you want to be asked out. Admit it!" and I was like, "No, I don't!"
Maybe get your friend to read it and tell you his thoughts? He may find it more true than he cares to admit....

God Can.

I remember back in the day (Ok, so... two years ago?) the gal friend who got me into this basically told me to read FYWO... because then, at least, I'd know what girls don't know about guys. Not sure if it'd help or not- I've not conveniently laid my hands on a copy... though my little sister might be getting it soon.

Anybody know if the "Ask Mike" thing is still in there? (I mean... did it get removed from the later editions? I'd assume if it was in your book once, it'd still be there now unless you blotted it out.)

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.

OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

Oh... I forgot the application: You might consider handing him the book and having him read it himself.

I can't say i've had anyone giving me a hard time about FYWO, but I can say that i truly enjoyed it. I want to pick up FYMO sometime soon though. I'm not sure about the "Ask Mike" situation; I assumed it got taken out of the the forums/books... :/
