Subject: How do you know he is honest?

Last year I had two boys interested in me. I spent time with them and just told them that we just can be friends...well...was interesting experience to get to know them. How do you know if he is honest? How do you know that he really means what he is saying? Can I just trust his words? Well, I did trust his words and I believe him that he meant it honest. But how do you know that it was really true and that he meant what he said? Thanks for your help!

Dear Prissy, Since I do not know the entire story i will answer based off of the info. u gave. I believe that u know when a guy is honest when u see how he acts around his friends, family, and u. If he seems to be a well-rounded Christian guy in the social, home, and church scene than he is def. a reliable young man. Really be discerning in these situations tho b/c some guys are sadly not so honest. It also helps to see what he has done in the past and how he acts in the present to see if he is a man of his word. (do this not in a judgemental way, just in an observant way keeping in mind that everyone does make mistakes too). But MOST importantly talk to the Father, pray, read the bible and I PROMISE He will reveal the plans that He has for u plans that will prosper u and give u hope for a future. Read Jeremiah 29:11

Prissy, I am from Germany, but I don't think this is any different from where you are. I have two guys, who are my best friends, they are also the most honest people I know of. You know, he is honest, when you ask him about the sins he has commited the last week and he tells you. That's what my guys do. I think, that is like the coolest thing. If they are honest about their faults, they are honest about other things too.
