I will be completely honest. When I am around girls, i get lost in a mystic world it seems and then i get kind of froze up sometimes. Although, around my friends i am always with i can go on and on for hours in a conversation. So as you can figure i am a little shy and for me like WJR1991 said, i feel like a coward cause my mind is telling me, "She's just another human being like you, its not that hard. Common." But I still get froze up. Depending on which girl it is, whether i have known her for a while and i am really good friends or i have NEVER talked to her like her depends on how i would "wish" things to go. Obviously if i have known her for a while i wont have such a big problem talking to her and potentially asking her out. But if its that girl i have never talked to in my life then i get more nervous because i am afraid i will mess up the first impression on her about myself and my chances will be dumped. It really helps when the girl shows interest in the guy, especially if he is shy because his confidience will rise and so will his courage. Usually he will come straight out and let you know. What do girls think about guys slipping them notes about how they feel towards them? |

hmm...notes. in a moreso letter format, i think it's romantic. instead of texting, it's way better. texting, to me, seems so impersonal. but i wouldn't mind getting a random note from a guy who liked me (and either i already knew/i liked him back). and even if we were dating, i think it'd actually be kind of cute. just an unexpected thing like that is what hooks girls. but if you're planning on asking a girl out, through a note, that's pretty lame. and you seem like the type of guy who wouldn't anyway, but just saying. most girls would be hugely turned off by that cowardice. either by phone or in person is best. :] |

| ya i am in the same boat i like this guy and he is not necessarily shy but its like he doesnt need girls at this particular moment he is content with being with his friends and just hanging out we talk and always have fun together and laugh all the time but what really sucks is he is going to college and i am stuck here its crazy cause i feel i am just me when i am with him and i love it so much and i think its the same for him its almost like he's what i have been looking for but i dont know what do you guys think. My plan is just to chill and have fun and just continue to talk to him and have a really good time together and see were God takes me. = ) |

lol Im in the opposite position to you Brooke, Im the older one studying at uni, and the guy im sorta getting to know is still in high school. He's a senior this year. (I've been out of highschool school for 2 years.) But Id say yeah, just be relaxed and show him you're there for him. but dont be on the phone to him like 24/7, it may creep him out, or am I wrong guys?? |

sometimes he might seem shy but really is just waiting for the right time to ask. i'm a big romantic and i can't ask a girl i like out just anywhere. for me it has to be special. like with my girlfriend i waited two months just to ask her while we were skating on the local pond.(had to wait until it froze.) |

What's another word for "thesaurus"? Why does the Easter bunny carry eggs? Rabbits don't lay eggs. What disease did cured ham actually have? Isn't it a bit unnerving that doctors call what they do "practice"?
these are the questions i'll ask when i get to heaven |

Adelynn - I love Apples to Apples! It's really fun! Have you ever played Balderdash? It's hilarious! Caleb2 - ha ha!! I suppose you had a while to contemplate and rehearse what you were going to say to her, huh? And I want to know the answers to those questions too! Why DOES the easter bunny carry eggs?? |

| wulp, caleb, i gotta commend you on writing it down. but honestly? don't. haha, no really. over-analyzing will just get you MORE nervous than you really need to be. i've come close to writing stuff down that i want to say to a guy before we talk/hang out and i never say what i want to, after the fact, haha. it's just useless! ride by the seat of your pants. seriously! it's much more thrilling that way and, though you may end up regretting a few things you say, more often than not, you won't! |
