Hey im new to this site and I just want you guys to know how excited I am to read the opinions of other sisters in Christ. I am 16 and homeschooled and live in a strict LDS area so I hang out with my family a lot. But the temptations are still there. anyway I just am glad to read the opinions of others and share those opinions. Thank you.

just one note, we have guys on here as well  haha.
besides that, have you read the book? or books?
you will get a few differring oppinions on here, but most of us tend to agree alot on certian subjects, as I'm sure you'll find out

Savannah!! Welcome! Always thrilled to see someone new!
You will in fact find lots of people on these forums that have differing thoughts and opinions but we all have fun helping each other out, getting to know each other a bit through our advice giving... And yes we do have that Godly connection  You might see a few posts in which Jojo and I do something called 'tag team' Haha be warned in advance that she and I are some of the ones who have been on these forums for a few years running now. Stick around long enough and you'll find out why we tag team
For introduction starters though: I'm Asian, one of the oldest in age on these forums (I'll be starting graduate school in the fall), crazy, have not grown up entirely and am in no hurry to; I'm a total bookworm and I very much enjoy getting to know my Heavenly Father more.

I agree that swimsuits just aren't very modest. What I've found to work nicely, is a two-piece, the bottom is a skirt, and the top, a long tanktop, and then I always wear an old t-shirt over it, just because even a long tanktop can be low.

| My fiance put modesty this way..."don't dress like you're undressing, anything that looks like you're starting to be undressed is what causes guys problems. i.e. shorty shorts, spaghetti straps, bikinis, anything that looks like you're clothes are partially off" |

| Well as a guy I guess I can answer that. Basically we thun about tons of stuff. (Were not all eggheads) if a guy is like me he will think abiut one girl until he can take her out. As for modesty don't wear showing stuff and please don't wear shirt shorts. Major distractions. If you wear nice stuff well see you for you. As for the way a girl interacts with her friends its more how ythey act towards the ones that are nice and the ones that are mean to the guy. If a guy is mean to him and she ends up going out with the friend who is mean to him and he knows that she knows he lik3s her than he can get sad, annoyed even angry if he likes her enough. Us guys are unpredictable even to ourselves. Don't do anything stupid. If its bad enough some of us end up feeling violent. So when thinks about how she interacts with her friends especially the male ones he thinks aboyt that a lot. |
