Hey yall!!
ok so i have this one guy friend and well we email each other, like a 2-3 time a week. we hardly see each other though. I have been praying for my future and for for my future husband((who ever and where ever he is)) like that God will lead me to the right guy and stuff like that....sounds kind of weird, doesnt it. lol
so anyways I kind of like this guy, he isnt all that "good" looking. im attracted to his personallity..he is a very nice young christian guy, is home schooled like me, love kids, and very kind.
Lately he is like the only thing on my mind for this past month. when ever i think of him i send a quick prayer up to God. like for this guy and that its your will Lord for my future what ever it is and to whom i should merry. that type of thing. i have been trying not to be that girl that has a crush on every guy she sees, but give it all to God and let him direct me.
one of my friends, (who knows this guy) thinks me and "this guy" would be perfect toghter. i told her if its Gods will he will for sure make it happen. Shes like thats an awesome way of putting it. She also this he likes me, cuz shes like he never emails me but he emails you a lot....
any ways this whole thing is just a little hard, so prayers, comments, questions and advice would be greatly appreaciated!!!

I think you are doing the right thing!! We can never pray too much sounds like you got a good head on your shoulders, and good for you! Don't become one of those girls who has a crush on all these guys. oh yeah, and how old are you? I probably asked once before....
Even if you're friend thinks you two go together well, doesn't mean it will be! Everyone said this one guy I dated was "perfect" for me. We were just the right couple. well...yeah right!!! I didn't think so God chooses unlikely people to be the one that is "perfect" for you. |

| ok this is a little random....
last nite when i was praying, out of the the blue a bible referance poped in my head,,
Isaiah 53:2.
I was like hmm thats weird why isaiah 53:2 so I just went to bed thinking I will just look it up in the morning, sure enough when I got up the first thing that came to mind was Isaiah 53:2.
I went and looked it up.... this is what it said..
"He grew up before him like a tender shoot,and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him"
I'm not sure what it means, but i will keep praying till I understand wht God is telling me, if He is, that is...

idk maybe the verse is about the future guy, it could be about you, or even just a situation haha. keep praying!
oh and fyi, just cuz he emails you alot, doesn't mean he likes you. i have a guy friend that emails me alot, but it's cuz I'm like his only gal friend that is into the same stuff... and he has a fiancee (and that's why I dont email him much, cuz idk it's weird if he talks to me more than her... that's another issue)
my point is, you could just be an awesome friend...
but continue to do what you're doing... |

| I assume that verse is referring to Jesus, the man who had nothing spectacular about him except that he is God's son and full of grace, tough love, and justice. I'm not sure how it would be some sort of sign except to remind you to rely on Him- the desires for such a man aren't random, they were put there by God, who wants you to have a Christ-like guy. |

yeah I was meaning like, god could be trying to say something to you through it, like I've had a verse pop into my mind, which i've always known as being about one thing, but then God kinda says to me "no, I'm reminding you of it because it's got to do with "so and so" in your life." (weither its a person or a thing...)
like I read Proverbs 30, and was just like,"ok she's describing her son and his wife" but then it hit me (or God revealed it...) that God was saying "This is the type of woman I want you to be, and that is what your husband should be like." or something to that effect. |
