I have wanted to get involved with my church for a long time, however the few times that i have gone, the sermon and the classes have gone way over my head. I don't know what the pastor is talking about most of the time, and i was wondering if anybody knows of a new christian thing or something. Any suggestions would be great.

Bible Study!! It's intimidating sometimes to just jump in like that so deeply, but it's really awesome to have a group of people to support you and help you to understand. I've grown up in a Christian household and I've still learned so much from my Bible Studies with other people, and obviously personal Bible Study- there are so many books that start from the basics up, though the only one I can think of is Busted by Fred Von Kamecke which is about the myths vs. truth surrounding God, Jesus, and the Bible. By the way I love your quote from Chuck Norris =D |

do any churches in your area do a "youth alpha?" thats a good one. or they do have study's for new christians that have all the basics and foundations in them. at the christian performing arts college I went to we did that stuff, and though i have been a christian for ages, it brought up stuff I still didn't know and it explains it well! |

Turn up the music Turn it up loud Take a few chances Let it all out 'Cause you won't regret it Lookin' back from where you have been 'Cause it's not who you knew And it's not what you did It's how you live

| If you don't go to a HUGE church. You could schedule a time to talk one on one with the pastor if you feel comfortable with that. OR you could send me a post. I'm starting a new topic called "Ask the PK" (Pastor's Kid) so if anyone has any questions about the bible or anything, i'll give it a shot! Hope that helps! |

Thanks. I just wrote what i would do for a girl if i really liked her and knew that she had been in bad relationships before. I'm glad it made sense.
