Well, I told this girl that I liked her and she doesn't feel that way about me. I have been friends with her like forever and now I don't want to make it awkward...HELP! |

Make lots of jokes and just keep talking. Even if it's random, just talk. Do not let it get quiet.
I know what you mean, been there and I think I'm about to be there again. It sucks it hurts the last time the guy I like ended up going out with my friend. I must have cried for days. Even after he said he still wanted to be my friend, it's hard. I'm sorry anyone has to go through that. |

There is one guy I have known for all my life and we are really really good friends. He went away on mission work for months and during that time we both started really liking each other. When he came back he was saying stuff about wanting to hang out with me etc. I was really scared to tell him I liked him cuz i didn't want to ruin out great freindship. I let on that yeah I would really like to hang out with him too. the next day we was like 'oh man sorry about last night it's never gonna work for us' and named off a bunch of valid reasons I was very aware of. Since that day we have hardly talked. He kinda avoids me. Our really good friendship is now awkward and weird, I'll text him now and then but it's not the same.
Sometimes telling someone you like them is taking the risk that things will never be the same. Either in a good way or an awkward way. |

| That's tough. I've definitely been there.
Best thing I can tell ya is to let it go and move on, like Adleynn said. If you've been friends for as long as you said she's probably doing the same thing.
And if it does get awkward, I'd say address the issue and let the dice fall where they may, but I don't think it'll come to that.
