He always smiles at me and he's always starring at me and doing his hair in front of me.
it's the weirdest thing, he's just so incredibal. i really need advice on how to tell him i actually have feelings for him.

Yes, I've heard of that movie.  I've never watched it, but all my friends love it.  I wish guys were like they are in the movies too.  I had a guy who I could tell really like me.  He stared at me and smiled too.  I was feeling just like you are.  What I did was just smile back and just say hi if given the opportunity.  It took a while for him to build up his courage, but he eventually started to talk to me.  I can't date yet, but we are good friends, and might date in the future.  So I would say just give him time and encouragement.

Yeah I own the movie and the novel. Read the novel cuz you see more of the story.
The movie was made from the book and the same guy who wrote A Walk To Remember wrote The Notebook.

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

I have seen a tape of it... never watched it, though- I have fairly protective older sisters, and I think they're aware that if I watch it, my little siblings will come in during it, and they might not like it. Didn't it have music by Switchfoot or something? (sorry, I remember something like that... it's about all I know about the movie...)
I'll probably watch it at some point...
Anyway, krista, I don't know if you've seen it in the past topics, but it's really not the best to tell him you have feelings for him unless he asks/makes the first move. I don't know how you know he likes you (as in: was going to ask you out until his mom objected), but yeah- if you know that... well... basically, if I were him (and I kinda have been... I was in that position and made the mistake of not holding the line my parents had drawn) I would want you to just stay the way you are, and wait until I can date... if I'm interested in you as is, and I'm the one who can't date, I'm not going to get upset with you for my not being able to date. Ditto to purejoy- just hang on... if he has admitted to wanting to date you later, and it comes up, it's perfectly fine to be like "I want you to honor your mother in this- I'll be waiting." ... Frankly, if the girl I was interested in did that, a lot of conflict would have been avoided...
So yeah- you could call it time and encouragement... it would be one way to put it.
(btw- I wish I was like a lot of guys in movies too... like Clark Kent... and yes, there are more real ones too...)

Ditto? "a thing mentioned previously or above —used to avoid repeating a word —often symbolized by inverted commas or apostrophes" (Merriam Webster online)... yeah, it's also kinda fun to say... like perspicuous and obfuscated (meaning "plain to the sight" and "muddled/confused", in that order)... used the way I did, ditto means "and the same to..."

I know- it's just kinda every American boy's dream to be able to leap buildings with a single bound, be invincible, stop a train with a single hand... etc. so I had to say it.
I don't remember very much about Mr. Darcy... I suppose that means I should try and get my older sisters to watch the BBC version of P&P again, or get my hands on the book... although the way things are, I have no clue when I'd get to it.

Yeah... A walk to remember has 2 switchfoot songs in it. At Parachute this year (in Hamilton New Zealand...) Switchfoot was the main band. so it was awesome getting to see them live! they got an encore and sang both the songs from a walk to remember, it was awesome!
The songs are "Dare You To Move" and "Only Hope" which mandy moore also sings in the movie (but the switchfoot one is played when the song becomes the guy's song too...

Oh if only the real life guys copied the movie actors.
They're so romantic and too perfect!
I would get annoyed if the guys I know were real life characters. If they always knew what to say/do and when to say/do it, we'd never get annoyed at them and get to make-up!!
;)

God Can.
