well my sister is on these forums so il word this carefully so i dont hurt her feelins....well we are a year and a day apart she is older then me but all our lives shes been through alot and alot of people pick on her and treat her very rudely....so me im the blunt one lol iv stuck up for her n told people how it is n NOT to mess with her cause they mess with her they got me and it wont be pretty im just a more in your face straight up type person....which i have no problem doin im just tired of people thinkin they can treat her like trash because uh hello she has feelins too! so any advice on how to help her learn to stick up for herself would help thanks!

It sounds like your sister has one of those personalities that is more... my mom calls is "comfortable" (I'm that way). We have lines that you don't want to cross, but they are often pretty tolerant and we'd usually rather ignore or smooth things over than cause any discomfort. For me, I had to have people who told me how valuable I am and that it's not okay to let anyone walk on me. I had to believe that I was worthy of respect, and I believed it because those around me believed it. She is lucky to have you to believe in her =]

I think it's a confidence issue... she maybe has to get to that "Content with herself" place before she can stand up for herself. believe me, i used to be her... I was bullied, I cried alot, I couldn't stand up for myself... and only now that I'm 21 have I started to be able to defend myself, though sometimes I still cry while defending myself haha. but god brought me to that place, and gave me awesome encouraging friends to help me I have a long way to go, but I'm getting there slowly so pray for her and just try to help her realise she's amazing the way she is and she's a daughter of the king, and so no one can make her feel inferior without her permission.
