Now, this may not be true for ALL girls, but it's true for me and I think for most girls...
I feel better about myself and more confident if I fix myself up before I go out somewhere (I feel good when I feel pretty). But, after I'm fixed up (got makeup on and fixed my hair just right..lol), I sometimes won't do certain things, like play rowdy games at a social event or don't wanna go outside...because I don't want to mess up my "look." Normally, I would enjoy doing those things. Idk, that sounds silly, but it's true...we girls feel we must look pretty...or we won't be liked.
Any comments...guys and girls? |

i agree with you, that i like to "doll myself up" before i go out to most anywhere. but, for me, i'll still play games and run around like anybody else. sure, if i'm wearing a dress/skirt, that's a different story, though.

Yeah, I'm not too ruff'n'tuff, but if I'm wearing a skirt I avoid running and stuff like that. I like to spend time dressing up, too. It makes you feel better.

I do my hair everyday!
I do mymake up almost everytime i go out!
I do feel soooo much better about my self if i'm all fixed up! |

| Haha, sorta.... in a way. I guess I'm more of the girly girl, but it doesn't stop me from having fun even if I'm dolled up =] Like for example, at homecoming, we had a huge group of guys and girls, and when we started to goof off, I took of my heels and just had fun -and as I bounced up and down, my curls deflated =[ lol. Some girls stayed on the sidelines, but I didn't =]. Very rarely will I stay still because I don't want to 'mess up my look'. But hey, it's just one girl's opinion. |

Well, for me, I definitly like to put on makeup and do my hair before I go out, even if it's just to the supermarket, but if I'm at home and no one will see me, I dont wear makeup and I leave my hair natural. but yeah, I do like playing games and stuff even if Im wearing makeup. If I've curled my hair for like a ball, i dont jump around much tho, cuz they do deflate and I have to use so much hairspray so it will actually hold the curl. If im wearing heels at a ball and Im getting sore feet and want to dance, Ill take them off and dance, but on rare occasions (like youth on saturday...) I was wearing my black high heel boots and the boys were playing volleyball (I love volley ball, especially since my dad used to play for Province in South Africa, and my brother and I inherited the sport ability...) but it was on the grass, and high heels sink in and I didnt want to have to clean the mud off them later. and wearing no shoes wasnt an option, cuz NZ ground has prickles!! well, mostly...
But yeah... depends on the situation |

Yes. I like to look pretty. I don't wear make-up, because I feel like I can't breathe with it on, but I do my hair and the funny thing is, I will blow that all away, because I'll work to look nice, but if everyone starts running around and having fun...I completely ignore my hairdo and and I have fun just like everyone else is. I feel like I waste make-up, so I don't wear it.
But, yes. As girls we are drawn to beauty, and that makes us want to feel pretty and want to make everything else look pretty. That's what my dad says. |

i like it when girls where skirts. they are cute :]
i dunno, i was remembering back to a time where my grade went to a camp and there was snow. some of my female friends would throw snowballs and stuff, but not too much. eh, maybe that's different... |

| Lol I have straight hair with a slight wave, and it annoys me, cuz it's never 100% straight and I love curly hair, and My hair doesnt hold curls well, its so annoying. Im a very active person, and love to jump around etc, so i do get annoyed when my hair goes psycho when I do sports etc... |

ya i like to do my hair to but sometimes when there is a game going on seems like i just can't keep from not playing so i get into it!! and like playing volley ball my hair all fall down if i have put them up...so ya but i guess it's like i say i'm not a pink girl..so much as i'm a girl but not so much that i love pink! suppose you'd pry call it a tomboy.

I have straight, thick hair. The only time it has a slight wave is when it's half-dry. 
I don't use straighteners or curling irons because they cook your hair! I don't dye it either - I love my natural colour (blonde)!! And if I do it up in rags or little plaits overnight, about 2 hours after letting them out the next day they're almost straight again.......

| it also depends on the day. because for me, there are days that i just want to stay home in sweats and read a book. then other days i want to get out and dress up and hang out with my friends. but i definitely like dressing up when i leave the house. i don't want to be going out looking like a slob. i think the only time i leave the house in sweatpants is for doz practice and when i go to work at stop&shop. |

| jojo, my hair was the same way before i got it cut (like you see on my facebook). now i can't even get it to curl. I bought a curling mouse to try and get it to curl but it doesn't do anything. lol |

i like when ladies get dressed up. i like to see what they like to wear. Theyre cute either way dressed up or not. i can understand not wanting to messup the look but there are alternatives to just not playin around .  |
