I just got done reading one topic about piercings, and it made me think about tattoos. What is everyone's opinions about them?  |

| i think they are somewhat ok....... personally i dont want one. it sounds too painful. i cant handle pain that well. dint they have tattoos in the bible?? |

ooh......... one more thing....
i just draw little hearts on my ankle(s) and or hands sometimes. but i only do that cuz i know its not permanent. unlike the real deal..
and do yall think of black nail polish?? i cant wear it cuz my parents think it looks devilish... |

If I had black hair I would so wear black nail polish, but with blonde hair it would just look try-hard for a guy.
I heard this story of a guy who wears black nail polish and he was in an elevator and this woman (who he's never met) says "your wearing black nail polish, are you a devil worshiper??" he replied "well, we're going down aren't we??", I laughed so much when I head that. But, for me, I think, so what if people (read 'society') associate black nail polish with devil worship, The Bible says not to conform to the patterns of this world (also read 'society'), right there I have cleverly (or not so cleverly) twisted the Bible to say "wear black nail polish". And people spend years learning how to twist the Bible to say what they want, I can do it at 17.

Tattoos... 
Well I like temporary tattoos and Hennas
I personally think a tattoo is similar to a piercing. Wherever you get a tattoo, it's there to attract attention to that particular area. I'm pretty sure I'm never going to get a tattoo, but I think a pretty tattoo on your ankle, wrist, foot or something is cute. Keep in mind though that a permanent tattoo anywhere on your body will be there permanently- it's not going to suddenly wash off when you turn 60 and start to show wrinkles. In other words, is the tattoo going to look as good as it does now when your skin loses its elasticity and you start to show more white hairs than gray? It also costs a heck of a lot of money to get them surgically removed- the only way to remove permanent tattoos by the way. With that said, I don't think it's worth it- and it looks painful. 
That's just my take on tattoos. |

There is a topic about tatoos in the archives somewhere which goes into alot of detail about it. probably a good idea to look it up.
would say something more, but i'd be repeating myself and dont have much computer access atm so i might have to just leave you with the info on that thread  |

haha yeah, i know.... I always say it... idk, it's kinda cuz I feel like i've given the best answer on the subject already and it's sooooo long to retype it... and yeah, so instead i refer everyone on to the previous topics. and I'm pretty sure you will find a topic for almost every subject already on here haha. even the "gay" topic, or "how can i date a non-christian" etc. there was even a music one b4, and a praying one, and a random topic one haha. ahem, I wont write a whole list
