Yeah. And who kniws. Maybe she's the one or not. But in my personal, proffesional and genius opinion I think ya got a good chance with no awkwardness. For niw just go as ya can. Read some quotes. make Bacon.

"For god so loved the world that he gave his one and only son. That whoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life." Bible.
"For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of god". Bible.
"Use your head to show your heart what you truly want." Aaron Ward.
Do not just look on one side of the tree that you see for good apples but also look on the other for you may find the best where you aren't looking." Aaron Ward.
"Don't try to gather all apples off a tree to compare them. For that will take forever. Rather just look and see so that you find the perfect one rather than going through many to be dissapointed." Aaron Ward.

Yeah, the only reason I posted that comment was that (I sound stupid for saying this) what the heck was so funny about it what I said??? That's all.
It's all in good time.
If she rejects, oh well; if she says yes, well...great!

I would check with your sister to see if she's ok with dating her best friend.

~Lauren~

But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ

I'm sure things will work out as long as you continue to seek advice and pray.

What would you do if there was a guy who flirted with you but had a girlfriend? Ignore it and be friends, tell him how you feel, or realise that if he treats his girlfriend like that he'll treat you the same way?

@ Love...
move on from him... I had this guy flirting with me, I didn't go looking for it, and I kinda fell... and then (this was at camp) on the last day, he let slip something about a gf... and I was crushed... we stayed friends, and he ended up breaking up with his gf (mutually) and we hit it off really well, and he was still pretty flirty... I thought it was going well.

I went to his town and stayed the night with a friend, and my friend said something about her friend was dating him... then they got engaged, and he still hadn't really told me about it... even though I knew and I started pulling away. needles to say, they're married... and it took me AGES to get over it... and he's still flirty... so it's hard. (especially being a girl who got way ahead of herself and at that point couldn't imagine my life without him...

so just from my past experience, Id say, maybe still be friends but try not to fall for him. treat him like a brother... but IDK wait for a few more responses...

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

Well, for a month now, she and her sis come to my house at 7AM for coffee but then Han wouldn't tell her sis and come alone! :D We've been having great conversations and when her sis does come and she says to leave, Han won't leave! And....she's becoming Byzantine!!!!!! :D:D:D That's a huge up for me since I won't want to have a relationship with someone who does not want to be Byzantine Catholic or Eastern Orthodox. So today, I met her at Tim Hortons and I bought her a coffee and asked her out and...................

she said no

She said she doesn't want to be anything more that a friend and she was stern about it. She was asked out today by another guy and she's going out with him. :'(

I was 99% sure!!!!!!!!!!!!! So was my parents! And my friends, and EVERYONE ELSE!!!!!!!!!!!
Her sis says she's too friendly and she's broken soooo many guys hearts because of it. I have never been so sad in my life. That walk home was the hardest ever. All those signs and still a NO?!?!?! I'll never ask anyone out now...

You know, that idea about becoming a Greek Orthodox monk and Αγία Τριάδα (Holy Trinity) Monastery doesn't sound so bad now...hehe
