| A question for the guys (or girls):
There is a guy two grades above me who is in my band class at school. During class, he would tell me how nice my outfit looked, that I looked pretty, etc. He would say this like he was trying not to laugh, though. Once he even asked me if I wanted to go to a movie with him, but when I didn't answer, he and his friend started laughing. It let up a little for a short time in the early spring while he dated a girl in his grade. Then this past week our band class had to march in a parade. I was in front of him (not by choice) during the parade. Right before we started to march, he said he liked the way I move. It took a ton of self control not to turn around and slap him then and there. I have been ignoring him since he started, but it hasn't seemed to work. My question is this: does he really like me, or is he just trying to annoy me? If he is just trying to annoy me, how do I get him to stop? Help! |

Ah I feel sorry for you. This is the kind of guy that likes you but is rude about it. Trust me when it would probably be better if you slapped him rather than go out. He is looking at your body in a non-gentleman way. If you know what i mean. He might like you in a good way and is showing off for is frirnds but i doubt it. If he truly liked yiu he would bot act this way. To me he sounds like a jerk. As a guy that knows how prople think I say this: avoid him. Hes not the kind of guy you eant to be around especially if you have self respect. Girl find a strong sensible and muture young man. We migjt be hard to find but we are around. So find a mire qyiet person you might be @urprisrd.

Thanks for the awesome advice Drake! I don't mind the misspellings  Do you have any idea of how I can get him to leave me alone? It is not really an option to avoid him during band. I've been trying to all other times I can, but my school is small so it is very hard. |

| Well if its a guy its better to be up front. If he is as egolidtic as you say theb try saying it in front 9f peopke to lay off. Make sure you sound serios and show your annoysnce. That will make him back off if he has any sense. If he acts sil/y from this by talkinh about ur body slap him. I'm not kidding. If he is still doing this then go get some male friebds who are big and ask them to tell him to lay off. But talk to him up front first. You'd be surprised. But do be careful. Us guts are unpredictable si watch out. |

| Thank you so much for the advice. I will try it out the next time I get a chance and hopefully it will work. One more quick question: There is another guy, one grade above me, also in my band class, who says I hate him!?! It kind of seems like he is joking by the way he says it, but no matter how many times I tell him I don't hate him, he still says I hate him! Any clues on this one? |

| Hehe lol. Probably just joking. Probably is fond of you but ive never seen this kind of si5uation befire. Just joke around with him and ask him questions. Youll find out his intentions I'm sure. Just dont oberreact to anything he says. He's probably hiding something with humor. Girls are smarter than us brutes I'm sure you'll be fine. |

ok, so i agree with what Drake is saying... i myself had annoying guys like that in my class... just ignore them, and if they are seriously irritating, be calm and go "Oh I'm sorry... we're you talking to me, i thought you were rehersing pick up lines for those lame girls you try them on..."
well, that's what I'd do, but idk if it would work haha. |
