| Well, there are ways... like, with most of us, if you click on our name, you can click on a link to email us (however that does give us your email address, but if you really want to talk to someone, that's a chance you just might have to take...) and some of us have our screen-names and myspace pages, etc. linked to on that page- so it can be done... I'd say the best way is probably to email or otherwise contact Julie Fowler... she seems to be the teen forum supervisor. |

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.
OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

| That would be a problem... unfortunately, I think they're kinda stuck with the forum software they used to write it... |

Hmmm yeah... It is quite hard... Like I have a myspace, but I dont use it cuz compared to bebo and facebook, its way more dangerous! However, Im not sure how safe it is even letting people email your family one, cuz what if you need help and its about one of your family members, then they read it, even if you asked them not to, and then get offended... |

yeah, if any of you have been on my profile, you can see i have a myspace. and it's private to everybody, even those who have a myspace, too. you have to be my friend to be able to see anything past my default picture. alot of people immediately assume [and with good reason, i understand that, but] that myspace/facebook/etc. are really unsafe and all. but it's just how you use it. if you make your profile very safe, such as making it private to all users but your friends, and you have to add people personally in order for them to see your stuff, it's really very simple to be safe about it. but people hear about all these poor teenagers getting raped/kidnapped/etc. because of the internet and it's like, well no duh! what do you think was going to happen when they willingly put themselves out there for the pedophile? seriously, it's honestly just common sense. i'm not saying go ahead and disobey your parents if they really don't want you to have a myspace or something, but honestly, they're not as bad as most people put them out to be. common sense plays a big part in all of it. that's my two sense, haha. :] |
