| I really dislike the Jonas brothers. They honestly are really bad singers. They use pitch correctors when they sing because they sing off key, I've heard them singing live (not at their concerts but on various shows) and they aren't really that good. Plus I feel they as people are starting to turn away from God. I know several Christian Magazines have tried to get interviews with them and they have been turned down because they wanted to ask the boys about their faith and the boys only wanted to talk about their music. |

I rly like the jonas brothers too! Nick is SOO cute!And I LUV his voice! But I agree,they say they are christians but they never mention God in their songs anymore...has anyone heard bbgood? It an awful song! I just think that if ppl claim to be christians and then sing songs like that,its NOT giving a good testimony..I think nick is the best |

but also it not there choice anymore there under contract and they don't talk to the jonas brothersz they talk to the mangers!
though i really think they are driffting away.... *tear*

Like when I frst started listening to them i was ttly into them!! You know...Three RLY cute guys , wear purity rings and are Christians! Thats like ttly awsome!!! And their songs that I first heard, they were rly cool./..but then I heard like BB Good and I just dont think thats a song that they, claiming to be Christains and sayin God's a big part of their life, should sing...And Some of ya'll on here were like "wow! They are Christians?? Thats so cool!) But if you couldnt tell they were Christians from their songs without anyone tellin you...Then rly thats not so awsome...Just like wen they said Miley Cyrus was a Christian..we werent like wow thats awsum! It was more like oh please...like thats true!!...Christaians should stand out! Not fit in with the world!!!!! |

You have to know that contract like that don't out right say "no mentioning God" they have artistict and lyric control! reallly its hard when your sighened to gjust get unsighend before you know it your traped!
by the way there dad is a pastor too...........
I know there HEARTS are right i just don't know bout there heads right now....
oh and by the way ALL there cds thank God first and for most in there thank you letter! |

BTW, I've listened to BB God, and my dad and brother did too. They say people can take it the wrong way, but they aren't meaning it in a sexual way... anyone who thinks of it in that way, is, and Im sorry to say it, maybe thinking along those lines themselves. I mean I can take any song and make it fit the way I want it to... doesnt mean it was written that way. and if you've bought the CD, on it they explain the meanings behind songs, and it had nothing to do with sex.
like did you know "Can't Have You" was written cuz they were watching James Bond and didnt want to fall asleep, cuz they'd miss the movie... Totally not what you'd think... |

| One thing we've learnt at bible is the God doesnt want us being judgemental of others. He says let your yes be yes and your no be no. so take what people say at face value and dont judge. God is the only one who should judge us, cuz who are we to say we're better or worse that someone else. God sees all sin as black. no different shades. all sins are equal. so if you've lied, youre as bad as the jo bros if they are being fake, and if they are, they have to answer to God, not you, one day. |

I was thinkin about the whole contract thing and...like if they're Christians then they shouldnt have signed a contract sayin that they wouldnt mention God in there songs or w/e....Am I right?? I don't understand why they signed under a non christian company. I know there are plenty of christian companys that they could have asked to sponsor them. But even if they couldn't do anything about it, they could do what switchfoot does where they hit at Christian meanings behind their songs in the secular world. The Jonas Brothers songs portray various subjects and from what I've listened to they don't have a meaning behind them at all. |

ya,thats wat I was thinking..if your a chrisian,or at least claim to be one,then why whould you sign a contract saying that you cant mention God in any of them?

Most of the lines are self explanitory, I did, however object a bit to the line "Baby, you gotta be good, I dont wanna hurt you, I wanna kiss you" I thought that was over the top (but the jo bro's especially joe, are quite ott most of the time, as in, they are hyper... so almost everything is ott...)
and, well, the last sentance, the way Joe says it, you can tell he's just trying to be a goof...
but I cant really explain stuff If i dont know what lines you think are "not cool" lol.
maybe I can get what you think is wrong if you point it out lol.
but as I've said, those are the only 2 lines I find a bit ott... like the hold you tight line, i saw it as like in a walk to remember when he feels like the girl's the best thing that's ever happened to him, when he tells her he loves her...
but yeah, Im confused as to how it could be objective?
*just a note, Hollywood records is a disney record label, they wouldnt allow the Joe bro's to put a song on their album that was suggestive, especially cuz little kids mostly listen to them...* |

i acctaully love that song and i see really nothin wrong with it! i mean ya the i wanna kiss you part it would be really sweet for a guy to tell you that! i mean think about it! and hollywood recoreds came to them they didn't go to hollywood recoreds!
They really are amazzing people and they pray before ever show! watch youtube videos about them and they will mention God like in one of the she does the game say the first thing that comes to mind and she says the sky or maybe it was the stars anyway.... Nick says god IMIDETLY! no hesitation! they are Christians if they hade artistic control the it would help but look at a little bit longer and he says "i'll wait till kingdom come when all the sarowws and lows are gone" those are Cjristian lyrics and i bet he fought to get them on there too!
