Hey guys! You know, I was talking to my boyfriend the other night, and we talk about everything and I just thought about how hard it can be in today's society for guys to keep a pure mind. I mean, it can be hard for girls, but guys are bombarded by impurtiy and lust everywhere they turn. I thought about it and I know God had a reason in making me a girl. I don't think I could be a GODLY guy. There are so many temptations out there, and I know God didn't make me strong enough to resist them, especially at the force they come against you guys! I just wanted to say I respect all you guys so so so much who guard your minds and hearts, who look the other way, who go to bed playing "Jesus Music" to keep your minds on Him instead of the files of images you could dwell on. Honestly, I think I would FAIL if I were any of you. It really is so amazing to hear about guys who don't dwell on those things, even though its so easy to gain that "pleasure" in a moment. So I just want to say thankyou to all you guys and that God will definately reward you for all the effort you put into keeping clean. Honestly, I dont think any of us girls will ever truely understand what you guys go through. So thanks so so much and GOD BLESS!!!!! |

| i completely agree with MLHW! i've met very few guys (in my ever so long 17 years in life :p) who fit the image of someone i completely respect and trust as a brother in Christ. i can honestly say, though i've never met any of you on here, i can tell that most of you are actively pursuing God and searching out His will. it's amazing to see! your actions are not overlooked. :] |

| I must say that I 100% agree with MLHW, you guys are AMAZING. I know i've come to God thanking Him for guys like you guys out there who still pursue God AND respect the female gender. I'm so glad i've been able to "talk" to you guys in these forums on about every subject it's really helped me and given me new perspectives. |

You're the kind of guys that make us think that there's hope for the male population when a certain guy disrespects us, etc. It's great hearing your opinions on this site 2. Thanks guys!! oh yes, i definately agree. i am a visual person and when people say things i see it, and it is yucky (some highschool boys are grody!!) but i would absolutely, positively fail at being a pure guy in todays world. lots of respect and love!

| It honestly is extremely difficult. And most girls out there don't make it very easy for us either. Guys are supposed to be the strong ones.However like it is said, "Behind every great man is a strong woman." We gain strength from the great women in our life. Yes, thank you guys so much!! Every day at school, pretty much everything out of guys' mouths is crap about our bodies.
Sometimes I think that there are no decent guys left- that respect virginity and modesty. It's so refreshing to come on this website and talk with real, live guys who treat girls like human beings and not playthings. You all are truly a blessing. Thanks again!! |

TOTALLY agree! My friends (who are guys) have expressed to me many times how hard it is to be godly. We were on a mission trip last summer and we went to a mall (it was the day before the mission part started!) and we passed a victorias secret and me and my best friend jessie were walking with about 4 of our guy friends and we were like making jokes like "oo guys dont look!" and stuff like that but then one of them said "ya know, we joke about looking at those pictures outside of VS and stuff, but really, it is hard for guys not to look and lust!" So that kinda gave me an understanding of how hard it is for guys to remain godly! So i want to thank all the guys on here and everywhere that are staying pure for their wives!
