Not I- I play instruments and sing. :-)

Most of the nearly two billion children in the developing world have inadequate access to dinosaurs. Some receive no paleontology training at all. One in three has never even seen a dinosaur in person.

OVPC is an organization providing a means to an end - an end that sees children in even the most remote regions of the globe being given the motivation and adrenaline to tap into their own potential, identify with the survival needs of a global dinosaur-driven culture, and to contribute to a paleontological world community.

WOW, haha Im kinda a jack of all trades.
I sing, dance, act, play guitar, drums, piano, and bass.... so yeah... Im like a one woman band.
I major on dance, vocals and keys...
but yeah...

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

I played piano and violin, quit those for various reasons (mostly teachers moving and stuff)... then I started picking up keyboard and guitar- currently I focus on guitar. (and singing...) I \want to learn how to use a vocoder, but whatever, I'll stick with human vocals for now :-)

yeah, well, I took Piano for about 4 years. I mainly play by ear though... Dad played guitar, so I kinda just copied him. and at school I had to do 2 instruments and tought "If I already play gat and keys, why not do something I dont know" hence bass and drums. Dancing I kinda taught myself and only had lessons from 5 years ago... and vocals, my host sister last year majored on vocal at Excel (I majored in dance) so I learnt from her, and she learnt from me... but yeah... as for drama, I've kinda been doing it all my life, and its good for dancing (cuz you kinda have to portray the emotions in the dance...) so yeah... everything I did mostly was done to improve my dancing... like I can now easily pick up bass lines in songs and dance to them etc...
but yeah, just goes to show you, just cuz youre good at one thing, doesnt mean you cant do another! oh and writing songs. I tried it, but they mostly sound like really long poems LOL all with the same old boring chord progression :P

I sing. In fact, I am pyched, because tomorrow I get to sing with the leader of the music group! ME!
It's an extreme honor, because apparently he said that my voice sounds like an adults! YAY!

I can't play any instruments. oh, believe me, i have tried.
-guitar
-flute
-keyboard

Yes. But neither worked for me...I was horrible. So i stick with singing! =)

I guess I am the only guy who responds to things, oh well. Yeah, I sing, I released a CD a years ago, I also teach Swing, Salsa, Waltz, etc. lessons. I've always wanted to to learn guitar so I could be a one-man act, but never took the time.

Hey, I have a new quote for all you; even if your not Catholic, you can still appreciate the beauty and truth in this statement:

No problem JP- I've been here since May-ish, but since school's started up I've been busy... I haven't been posting much recently.

On my musical side, the youth band I've played with finally re-assembled, so I'm finally going to be performing again... which is a totally different aspect of music from worship leading (I love both of them). And sweet on the swing!!! I miss swing-dancing a ton! (not like I was good at it, but it was fun)

Swing dancing is one of my most favorite activities. I taught in college and it is truly a wonderful way to have fun and interact at dances besides the bump-n-grind. In addition, it requires a communication between partners, rather than just focusing on rubbing bodies together. Lastly, it reinforces a sense of respect for the other, especially if danced correctly.

I learned swing in high school and it awesome at dances. A group of 6-10 of us would dance swing while everyone else did whatever; and while we did get some strange looks at times, we know it was mostly out of envy.

Salsa however is a bit more sensual than swing, which is why I would call it an "adult" dance. Because of the nature of the proximity, you need to have a higher level of maturity. Also, the purpose of the dance is different. In swing, both partners receive more or less equal attention, in salsa, the man is the frame and the woman is the picture; all importance is on showing off your partner.

You did a dangerous thing bringing up dance. I'll get off my podium now...

oh my goodness!!! u guys are so talented! i played the flute for a few months (if you consider blowing correctly and not making a sound, playing the flute...hee hee) anyway, i have had a few singing solos in school and i love to sing so i suppose i'm good at that. oh...and i played the recorder for an assignment and i can play the triangle. compared to u guys though, i am better fit for the audience. im o.k. with that though. i'd rather focus on school and admire those who take time to play an insturment. :))))

i kinda play the piano, i haven't in a while tho. yea, all my teachers moved so i don't take lessons, but i took them for about 5 years, starting when i was 8. i've been told that once i open up a bit i have a good voice. so if that counts for anything...
