| see i am already going to save my first kiss. i never thought of the first hug... were just friends right now and when do you draw the line between the "hows it going" hug and the i like you type of hug?? or when to hug and when not to hug?? |

LOL I kinda hug everyone 
but it's a little more akward when I like the guy... but the guys do give you some good advice... because I can only explain it from a girl's perspective...
I think there's a LONG topic on hugs somewhere on here, haven't seen it in a while...
I remember back in the day when the forums only had one page of topics Right Will lol!
but yeah... idk... the guy I kinda like from camp 08 I hugged him... or more he hugged me... I was all "Hey girls dont leave without a hug!" and he was like "Where's my hug??" lol.
but yes... I kinda felt bad cuz I didn't hug this one guy the other day, cuz I kinda liked him... and it was kinda akward... but he's leaving today so I might hug him...
I donno if there is a line you can draw... except that if you hug him for ages it could mean that you like him.... |

| You girls think about hugging so much more than guys do. I never thought about hugging in so many different ways. hahaha I have always thought hugging is pretty much a way to say, " Hey, I care about you." but not in a romantic way you know? |

| I agree with Nate. seems like were always on the same page. ( Californians stick together hahah) yeah its like kind of normal to do when you see someone you havent talked to in a while or saying goodbye. And nothing against homeschoolers but pretty much everyone hugs in public school. |

I never knew hugs could be analyzed so much either.... and I'm a girl too! I just don't hug guys, I have never had a guy who wasn't a relation hug me, nor have I offered any hugs to guys I know. My close girl friends get hugs, though.
I would say, if it makes you uncomfortable, don't do it. |

i hug all me close girl friends too. but this is the first guy i hugged thats not family...
should i talk to this guy about it?? and tell him idk if im ready for hugging?? right now were jst good friends... |

| Im not sure if you should talk to him about it, if you havent realized yet most guys dont think that much about hugging so who knows wat he might say it would kinda be taking a risk without any chance for reward |

I agree with Nate. I would definitely say don't talk to him about it because he might just think its wierd. I know i would dfinitely be cought off guard if a girl talked about hugging like that. Also just he probably thinks nothing of the hugging. Its probably just a thing he does.

Wow people sure do like hugs around here! If I can avoid them at all costs I will! I have what I call "my personal bubble don't puncture or intrude on it" and people who really know me go ahead and intrude on my personal space any way and that's usually ok. but I do no initiate hugs. Hugging strangers is weird. The only guys I've ever hugged would be boyfriends and that's different. (the way I said that makes it sound like I have had lots of bfs I haven's lol)
I was homeschooled for 5 years then was in a private church school for 5 years then I was home schooled the last two years. So I'm kind of a mix! The church school was tiny, we had 20 students one year in from grades 1-10.haha |
