Okay so I am in grade 12 at a catholic high school. There is this girl I like and I have sometimes thought about trying to talk to her but I have a hard time finding time and any time that I know would be good im too afraid about wondering what to talk to her about because it's not actually talking to her its trying to hold a conversation and bring up conversation topics because i don't wanna look like a fool when I am talking to her because I really DON'T want to screw this up. I was wondering of some conversation topics that I can talk to her about besides what her interests are because obviously I will look to get those in there to she her I like her. What would be some tell signs or something that she likes me in anyway? Any good insights would be really appreciated.
p.s I have never had a girlfriends before because I am really shy as well might as well throw that in there

and as far as I know she has never had a boyfriend so I would hope to be the first. But I am wondering if that is because nobody has been brave enough to ask because I find her to be that BEAUTIFUL that EVERYONE would be afraid to try and ask her out.

Really there's not much to it. All you really have to do is ask good questions, such as, "Hey what did you do over the weekend?" then when she answers lets just say she says,"well actually i went to a concert it was really cool!" then you just ask follow up questions such as, "where was it? Who did you see? What did you do ther?" etc. theres never really like some magical conversation starters. Its just ask a question then follow up question, show that your paying attention ad BAM you've got yourself an awesome and successful conversation. :) hope this helps. Any other questions just ask. I would be glad to help!

BE A GENTLEMAN!! I am really interested in chivalrous (I love that word) :) guys, and i'm pretty sure there are lots of other girls with the same preferance. Opening doors, offering to help carry stuff...that's great (just don't become a shadow-- That's a major turn-off)

Girls notice it when you try to get to know them. If you're making an obvious effort to talk to her, be nice to her, etc., she'll see that and decide how to respond. Hope it all works out!

That's funny. There's two "fishy" guys! ;) lol

A girl should be so lost in God that a guy has to go in Him in order to find her

Both of you make me laugh when I see your names:) and DaFishyDude, your posts usually keep me laughing!
Well bigfish, don't worry aobut being awkward! I just gave that advice to another guy. Maybe Cerno? Anyway, you're so concerned that you'll make a mistake, don't worry! no one expects you to be perfect. I really admire quite guys when they try to make a move and start a conversation! I'm head over heals over a quite guy. and I mean quite, he can hardly open his mouth without turning beet red. If the girl you like is like me at all she'll probably think it's the sweetest thing in the world you're giving her attention. I sure hope she's like that:) good luck!

I'm with Liz, a guy being a gentleman is a big turn on. But as Liz said don't be OTT, just be yourself. (I'm gonna digress a little here so please bear with me!!!)There's this guy in my class at school that has this little game to come and say hi to me every morning, he does it in his gangsta, cool, invincible voice; at first I found it wierd but then I realised that the guy was just trying to talk to me and now I greet him back. Point of my story, be polite and greet her, just don't do the whole gangsta thing...

Blessings,
Bubbles
