I started a book study tonight on, "For Young Women Only" and after getting into the second chapter, we discovered this-

What is "respect?"  I mean it keeps getting metioned, but yet, it's never said what exactly it is.  I know it's diferent for each guy, but what's the most commen deffinittion?

There's many things that it could be i think the one they're talking about is the following words come to mind:

proper acceptance or courtesy; acknowledgment:

a defintion as such would be

an esteem for or a sense of the worth or excellence of a person, a personal quality or ability, or something considered as a manifestation of a personal quality or ability

hope this helped

God bless

The way i understand it is that if you want a guy to do something and you maybe have to remind him to do it. don't go up to him saying "what you still haven't done it" or "when are you ever going to do it" anything that makes him sense you're doubting him will automatically make him sense you don't trust him. i always try to ask like "how are you making out with this or that" that way they will feel more trusted. and they will be more honest.
