Hmmm no offense taken! :) I guess everyone's different, but I think for myself, online would be worse. Besides...how many times has a girl told you face you face what color she's wearing? I didn't think so... Since we're talking Facebook in particular here, you should, at least somewhat know all of your "friends," I do.

Why do we go with the flow
Or take an easier road?
Why are we playin' it safe?

wow i didn't realize this was such a huge issue. haha i saw a few of my friends doing it and i thought it was just people being really random at first until i got the message. allie, i understand what you're saying here. and i want to agree with you. but i kind of see their point and as much as i don't LIKE to admit it.....they actually have a pretty good one. but thank you for saying everything i could have way better :) haha

and guys thanks for the imput. :)

I'm sorry to all the people who object to the bra thing, but I'm kinda on Allie's side too...

I participated in it, and not ashamed, cuz My mum died of breast cancer, and lots of people do not realize how serious it is. and you know, guys knowing about it helps alot (meaning the disease) because some girls wont go to get checked out, but if their guy says something like "I'm worried, you should probably go and get it checked out" it's like helpful... cuz it is a scary thing, especially if you are found to have it...

Now as to the issue of the colours... ok yes some guys are gonna wonder, but this kinda happens anyways, like allie said, it's just like wearing a bikini at the beach, you know... some stuff is gonna happen weither they know or not. and actually most guys didn't know what the heck I was on about, and when asked, I said it was about what dress I was gonna buy. also the way us girls found out was sent viz private message to us by a friend or family member. the guys never got those emails. the only thing I can really relate it to, and it's not a great comparisson... is like guys growing mustache's for raising awareness for prostate cancer. my grandad had that, didn't die of it, but he had it till he died... you know, it makes people think.

I'm not against you guys who think differently, everyone has their own oppinions, I'm just saying you shouldn't diss others for trying to do something good, and make out like it's a terrible sin (not saying you did, just using an example) cuz I actually kinda felt a little offended, because i was doing something to help people, and it's kinda like it gets thrown back in your face. you can't help what others think, but it's what you think and your attitude towards it that you can control.

I think I'll leave it at that...

Turn up the music
Turn it up loud
Take a few chances
Let it all out
'Cause you won't regret it
Lookin' back from where you have been
'Cause it's not who you knew
And it's not what you did
It's how you live

I'm not trying to condemn anyone! I know breast cancer is a serious issue. My grandpa died of cancer, and a year later my 23 year old cousin got cancer, he survived. No matter what color i wear, I am still going to be aware of cancer!!! I wouldn't have an issue with saying what color of shirt, undershirt, hat, whatever you're wearing. but your bra...well I still absolutely hate shopping for them and get in and get out, so for me to say what color of one I'm wearing; I would be really embarrassed:)

I'm sorry, but I really don't get the point of posting your bra color for all the world to see!
Yes, I know, it's to "support breast cancer", a very real disease, but how does that support breast cancer? Why can't you say something like "I prayed for breast cancer victims today" or "I'm going to save up some money to send to a breast cancer research facility"? Something that actually might make a difference?

btw- Clare, I totally feel the same way! :S

A girl should be so lost in God that a guy has to go in Him in order to find her

Well, I can honestly say I never meant for things to get so heated here. I don't think this discussion is getting anywhere, and it's becoming more emotion based. I think it's probably time to quit this discussion and move on, letting the Lord lead you on this subject.

Thanks to all who participated and I want to especially thank you, Grant, for your willingness to be honest and open about what you shared!
