I wanted to make a thread about what we are hearing God speaking to us. Whatever that may be. I have always thought that our own experiences can be a huge help for someone else going through something similar. But if we don't share them or what we get out of it, or what we hear from God, how can we help?
So that's my thought. Hopefully what I do can and will help someone else. |

Something I do and try to do often, is write myself a letter. But write it from the perspective as if it's God writing it. So I'm going to share a few.
"Beloved, remember that I love you, and that I will never leave your side. Whenever you start to feel those waves crash in around you, take hold of the facct that I am with you every step of the way, and nothing can overcome you with me. I am your overcomer, your stregnth, your shield. Sit back and take rest in me whenever you become weary."
"Why do you worry about the small things? Trust in me that I will give you a spirit of boldness when the time comes. Trust that I am always with you. All you need to do is be who you are in me and you will draw people to you with your beautiful spirit. As long as you are seeking me first, I will add everythign else to your life."
"Beloved, remember that you are my example to the world. Also remember that whatever I give you the, I wall also give you the ability to handle it with the maturity of Christ. If people continue to take, remember that I will never let you go empty, that I will continue to not only keep you full of hope, peace and love; but you will be overflowing. So that you can show the entire world."
And the most recent...
"Beloved, I see your brokenness, I see your hurt and your stress. Know that I do not delight in this, and that I feel it too. But also remember, my child, that through this experience, you have been made even stronger. You were a threat to the enemy before, but now after going through this and not giving up, imagine how terrified they are of you now. You are one of my fiercest warriors with you unyeilding faith in me. Always remember, you are my example to others, and even though these trials that you are going through are leaving their mark on you; those scars that you carry will be an inspiration to other people. You will be showing them that even though it is tough right now, it will be ok and you can get through it, and you will be stronger for it. So, my dear, do not ever forget that I am always here. That no matter what you are going through, I want you to bring it all to me. And remember, I am your shield, your protector. When you feel the enemy closing in around you. I am your comforter when the waves crash in around you and you feel like you can't make it. I am always here and I will never leave your side."
