Isn't it the guys job to make the call the majority of the time, not the girl's responsibility to cry when he does call and make him feel bad that he has a life? Is it okay for her to text him or email to call her or ask him some other way?
Is it reasonable for the girl to use her female influence to get what she wants? Isn't that just manipulation? Is that ever okay? Where is the line- is there one? Or should it just not happen?
How do you bring it to the attention of someone who is being manipulated that way?

Good question....I don't think it's ever fair for a girl to whine and cry and do things like that to make a guy feel sorry or bad for not doing something. I teasingly told my friend if he doesn't do - - then I might have to cry and make him. Ooooh no! He was like don't you EVER! that is not fair at all. Sometimes it's really hard not to cry when he does finally! call..or try to make him feel bad for having his own life
I'm not sure how to bring it to someones attention other than just telling them that's how you see things happening. |

gosh, hate that situation totally. I'm really emotional, so I cry easily in some cases and completely close up in other cases, but I think it's wrong to purposefully be whiny and cry to make a guy do something... like "Why do you not call me, I need you and you left me feeling like you dont care and it's horrible and..." haha. it's not fair on a guy to have to be manipulated, as he doesn't really know how to react, like to get mad, or to give in, and it's possibly the worst thing you can do to a guy. I mean, yeah I've thought "what if I cried and got him to feel sorry for me?" but then I think "how would I like it if he did the same to me, or tried to pressure me into doing something?"
as to how to approach your friend, maybe state "how would you like it if he decided to force you into doing stuff you dont wanna do? that's what you're doing to him."
I'll ask will for his input, cuz he might have a good guy's perspective. |

| I used to be the same way and try to get this guy to do what I wanted by being manipulative. But after reading FYWO, I figured out that guys have hearts to, and just because they're big and strong supposedly doesn't mean, that it doesn't hurt them. I think that if you really like this guy (if i'm understanding correctly) You wouldn't do that to him, just like you would hate him threatning to go out with another girl just to get something from you. It all goes back to the Golden Rule: Do unto others as you'd have them do unto you. Hope this helps. If not, sorry! |

| From a guys point of view, thats messed up when a girl cries to get there way if we say no to there crying we feel like a jerk but if we say yes then she will just do it again yea its cool to text us and ask us to call you thats fine and when using your female influence to get your way the line kinda depends on the person and wat your trying to get them to do hoped that helped |
