Hi, it's me again! Okay, so there's this guy at my church, we've been fighting for years. (like literally 8) Anyways, after I read the book For Young Women Only. I realized how much I really hurt this particular guy by not respecting him, and making him feel inadequate. Now I feel really bad. I mean, he's hurt me to, but I didn't know how much damage i'd done until now. I actually really look up to this guy, but that's kind of hard to say when we've got thins "thing" hanging between us. So does anybody know how to get my piont across without totally humiliating myself? Or is embarrassment my only option? Thanks for your comments!

I don't think humilliation is your only option but I do think that humility has to take part in your situation. Depending on how close you are to this guy... I think it would be best if you just humbley went up to him and said I'm sorry for what I've done and I hope you can forgive me. If he's the guy I think he is, then he'll be more happy to see your humbleness than anything. Hope that helps! God bless you...

You know what? Anyways, thank you for the advice, even though I didn't post on your page. I'll think about it tonight.... If he comes to Bible Study.

Your gonna probably embaress yourself when you apologize to this guy sorry but its the truth i mean fighting after 8 years then laying it all down is going to be a little embarising my advice on wat to say would be "Hey, I'm sorry for hurting you these last years. I was a jerk but Gods been working on my heart recently and i realize the way ive treated you was wrong. Can you please forgive me." Thats my advice hope it works

wake up and praise the Lord
rise up you sleepy soul

When I said you guys were awful I meant it in a good way. Sometimes you have to do things you don't want to do. Just wanted to clear that up! lol.

Yeah..it wasn't until I read that book that I realized when us girls meet a guy with a 'big ego' and want to 'take him down a notch' that that is the worst thing you can do. And I have done it a lot. But like said above, I think you should go fix things up with him!
