I was just wondering. How many people on here are involved with 4-H, and if so, what is your favorite part?

Used to be before I got too old for it. :P I don't know what my favorite part was, but I did sheep, swine, ceramics, arts and crafts? baking(made some cookies)?, photography, and I forget what else. :P Those were the good ol' days! :) We used to always have a good time at the 4-H fair hangin' out with the other kids from our club, and takin' care of our critters, etc. It's a good thing!

So....ok, spit it out, what's yours?

I'm gonna be the president of my club next year, and i was just wondering if anybody had any fun things that their club did that i could introduce into mine. My favorite part is my .22 rifle project, and also the end of the year parties, and 4-H Summer Camp. I've been in for 8 years so i can't even remember all the projects I've done.

It is a nationwide club-based youth group. We raise animals, shoot guns, make food, enter our projects in the fair, everything from legos to cows.

Oh, cool! I really really really wish our club participated in the shooting sports, but I would have been about the only one to get serious about it. Oh well. I made up for lost time at our place where hundreds of pop cans and paper sheets met their demise one hole at a time, or clays 227 holes at a time. LOL
