Subject: i have had 2 bfs and they both broke up with me within a month...what is wrong with me?

um iv had 2 bfs so far and when i date i stay totally commited to that guy....so i dont know what im doin wrong but obviously im doin somethin wrong any suggestions guys or girls? :'(

Hmmm... I wouldn't say there is something wrong with you... It depends on the guy, how you treat him when you are dating, how old you are and of course how ready he or you are to be comitted to one another... I've never dated in my life but I have been "friends with benefits" with a guy for about six months. I would almost say it's the biggest mistake of my life and I can't forgive MYSELF for it. But point being when we both realised it didn't do us any good we decided to not be friends at all. It was very hard for both of us and I was hurted very bad. I then just looked for a guy to date to cover up the loss but then again two broken pieces don't make a whole it only makes a bigger mess... I needed to sort myself out before going into a next relationship... I don't know your situation but in my opinion having two boyfriends in one month is kinda weird cuz if the relationship with the first guy was very intimate or whatever you didn't give yourself so much time to heal and get over him. And then you were already hurt when you went into the next relationship, wich could've been the cause for the guy dumping you??? I hope it will help a little

aww thank you! actually the first one i started datin in June n he broke up with me after a week but it was more cause the disstance :/ uhh i waited like 3 months i was hurt by the first one but not as bad as the second i started datin my ex devon in in september he broke up with me a few days before our one month anniversery it was awful n he was soooo confussin now im taken my time lettin my heart heal lettin God help me n when im more reay to date again God will put another guy in my life to date n my heart will be somewhat stronger...you just have to learn by your mistakes at least i do :/ thanks tho

Oh honey, there's nothing wrong with you, some guys dont know what they've got til it's gone. i donno, maybe pray about it and take a look at yourself... one book that helped me with this was "31 Girl" by mary simpson (I Think) and it talks about being God's "IT" girl... and I think if you've got all that covered, you're fine, and it's just the guys that have the problem... one thing I always remember, if something like a break up happens, it's for the best and just means God's got something more amazing for you out there

Here's reply from a guy. There's nothing wrong with you first and foremost. Let's get that straight. My advice would be to give yourself time after a break up. you've got to deal with the emotions for a little while. . You must begin to love yourself first before you can honestly love others. Don't try to ignore it by dating more Guys. Instead you must grow from it. Let that experience make you wiser. I'm not saying you should never date again. What I am saying is learn to have fun again like you did before. Let Go & and Let God. I can kinda speak from experience. lol

What is wrong with you? Absolutely nothing! And it seems you already have the right idea anyway! No need to rush. Take your time and I imagine a great guy will cross your path at the right time! Hope that helps!
